GalaxyMS's - Terms Of Services
The terms written here in this thread are automatically taken effect on you (The User) upon the creation of your account for both forum or game. These rules apply to all of our services. We have all the rights to block you from any and all services for any reason, breaching of any term written
Ignorance of any rule or not knowing the rule is not an excuse.
Changes to this Agreement.
The Management reserve the rights to change or update this agreement any time on anything without your consent. This is your responsibility to check the agreement regularly to keep yourself updated.
Possible Punishment
This are the following possible punishment that might be execute from the staffs of services:
Warning given to user (regardless forum, chat or game)
Mute.
Block/Banned in xat chat.
Block/Banned in forum .
Temporary jailed in game.
Block/Banned account in game.
Fully blocked to access the game.
Fully blocked to access everything.
General Rules
These rules apply to the forums, the chat, and the game.
1. PG-13
All of our services(Website, forum and game) are operated under a PG-13 guideline. Under this PG-13 guideline, the sharing of pornographic material is unacceptable in all areas, including area's not limited to the PG-13 guideline. Also, the sharing of graphical illegal paraphernalia is also unacceptable, including but not limited to:
2. Respect
All users are NOT ALLOWED to directly discriminate against other users based on race, religion, or sexual orientation. This also including abusing the use of vulgarities or insulting comments towards any users. We do expect all users to control themselves from such words and give respect to everyone. If you have to ask whether or not you are violating this rule, you probably are. Please do respect all staffs of GalaxyMS as they are merely a helper of the services. While we exercise the freedom of speech right, inexplicable use of profanity is still liable to punishment, again, at staff discretion. Such violating to this rule can lead to punishment can range from temporary jail to full ban.
3. Harassment
All users are NOT ALLOWED to harass any user(s). Harassment includes of continuously spamming, stalking, annoying and ksing regardless in the use of any form. This includes trying to ruin any other user's experience in the server. All users have the rights on such freedom service and if such freedom is being abused, the user will be punished. Such violating to this rule can lead to punishment can range from temporary jail to full ban.
4. Advertising
Advertising another network, game or server is strictly forbidden. Any attempts of doing so will result in an immediate, and permanent full ban of your GalaxyMS account or Xat chat.
5. Staff Impersonation
Staff impersonation is strictly forbidden. Regardless of which services you use, from chat, forum, website to game. Attempting staff impersonation is also counted. Impersonating staff includes having a similar-look-like name, claiming that you are a staff, behaving like a staff(helping other users is allowed), claiming to jail or ban any user and threaten any user in the name of "Staff". If you found any user impersonating staffs, please report it under the section "Player's report". Such violating to this rule can lead to punishment can range from temporary jail to full ban.
6. Please use only English on public services.
GalaxyMS is a English server. You are strongly encourage to type/speak only English on all of our services. A minimum use of other language is allowed, for example, Singlish. This is to allow all users to be able to communicate with each other well and clearly know what is going on. Violating this rule can lead to punishment can range from temporary jail to full ban.
7. Abuse of bugs/ glitches/ exploit
Bugs, glitches and exploits are unintentionally giving user too much advantages. User that uses it without any confirmation from staff is counted as abusing the usage. This includes spamming/bypassing the votes, attacking other user's account. By-Passing IP-Ban, Account-Ban, Mac-Ban or Jail is included under Abuse of bugs/ glitches/ exploits. You are strongly encourage to post a bug report if such bugs are found and report any user you suspect to be abusing it under "Player's report". Such violation to this rule can lead to punishment can range from jail to full ban.
8. Responsibility
As the system might have glitches or bugs at any of the points, user are encouraged to @save their character every 15minutes, and 30seconds before restart to prevent rollbacks. As a player, user are fully responsible of what they did and any ridiculous excuses will NOT be accepted. Having no inventory slot while trading is NOT the server responsibility to refund you when you did not receive your item. You are advised to take screenshot of important/costy items incase anything happen to it. You are also strongly encouraged to @save after you have done some trading between players or NPC to prevent rollback. You are also responsible of all your accounts and action. GalaxyMS will NEVER ask you or give any user your account information(username excluded). If your account is used or hacked by another user and illegal stuffs was did there, reasons of "IT IS NOT ME" will NOT be accepted, however, you should take responsibility of it and provide a more specific reason(s) and such. GalaxyMS holds the right to ignore, decline, accept or jail you for requesting for refunds, blaming the server for such issue or not checking inventory before trade.
9. Authority
Authority is given to the staff of GalaxyMS. Anyone who challenge the authority by either insulting, threatening, asking for problems, dis-respecting, questioning or even argue with any of the Staffs directly or indirectly. This includes trying to get equipments, position, items, or any form of advantages from a GM. All user(s) that are being suspected to challenge authority will be placed in jail or banned. Violation to this rule will lead to jail to full ban. Authorities is also given to GM to punish users that insults or gave negative comments about the server, services either directly or indirectly.
GalaxyMS's Rules
The terms written here in are automatically applied to you (The User) upon entering the client of GalaxyMS account.
1. Report Rule-Breakers
All users are expected to have integrity when it comes to any application, appeals or reports. If you come across any users breaking the rules, we expect you to report them to the management immediately. If you are found taking sides with your so called "friends" and did not report them, you may be punished as well. You can report to all GMs online with the command "@callgm ". Any fake reports being sent to the management will be dealt with. You are also encouraged to take screenshots, videos of the footage to help us resolve such issues. Any punishment mentioned above are ranged from temporary jail to full ban.
2. Hacking/ Third-party software Usage
The use of hacking tools or third-party software/hardware/objectware to automate certain functions of the game is not allowed. This is always met with permanent bans from our services. Being in a party with a hacker or taking sides with a hacker is also considered hacking. It is considered botting if you continue to play and do not pay attention to the game. Macro-skills botting is also counted a form of hacking. For example, holding down your attack key whilst facing the other direction and watching the TV, etc. Hacking also includes entering other users account without permission, regardless if you did or did not take/steal any property from them inside their account. Usage of any third-party software is strictly NOT allowed. Packet editing is concluded as both Hacking and usage of third-party software. Violation to this rule can lead to punishment, ranging from ban to full ban.
3. Glitch Abuse
Glitch abuse is no better than hacking, so please don't do it! When you discover a glitch, report it to an administrator immediately. Violation of this rule can lead to punishment, which ranges from temporary jail to full ban.
4. Scamming
Scamming is when a user takes advantage of another user in any case. If you are scared to be a victim of scamming, please video the process down for evidence in case any user scams you. If a user did, you can report them. Please ensure that all trades of large value are recorded either via video or sufficient screenshots. The MANAGEMENT HOLDS NO RESPONSIBILITY to such cases and will NOT refund you. Violating this rule may lead to punishment, which ranges from temporary jail to full ban.
5. WZ Edits
WZ Edits are edits that are not recognized by the administrator of GalaxyMS. If you found any user using an edit that is not allowed by the management, please screenshot/video the evidence down and report the user in the forum immediately. Discussion or trading of such edits is NOT ALLOWED. Violating this rule may lead to punishment, and can range from ban to full ban.
6. Lost Items
Items lost during a trade due to a full inventory or trying to hold two (2) one-of-a-kind items (e.g. Zakum Helmets) will not be compensated. This also applies to the rare events of rollbacks. Any item rollback'd, hacked or removed in any process will not hold responsibility from the management unless mentioned. Please do not ask the staff for compensation.
7. Public Broadcast spam/limit
Public broadcast are items or command used to broadcast to the world or channel. Broadcast spam is 3 or more broadcasts from a person in a short amount of time. At the presence of a Gamemaster, you may be instructed to stop using such function, or even jailed for spamming them. There is no need for back and forth conversation of any more than 3 per person, and even than a moderator may stop you at any time. If it is a conversation between 2 users, there is a function called "whisper" and no one would wish to know what is happening with you two. Argument in public broadcast is counted as spamming. All useless stuffs/information, insults, vulgarities, R21, any sexual-related words or rude comments should be avoided when user is using any form of server-wide communication/public broadcast. Violation of this rule can lead to punishment can range from temporary jail to full ban.
8. Donor IOC Selling
Users cannot "sell","trade","buy" a donor Item of choice(IOC) or any instance of such. This is to ensure a proper currency and economy being run in the server. Thus, you may not buy an IOC using DP and sell/trade it to a player in any ways.. If you are no longer using it, sad then. This applies to Equipments, Mount and Chairs. Infact, it includes everything inside Free Market 7. Violating this rule can lead to punishment, ranging from jail to full ban.
9. Refunding items
Users cannot ask for refunds if you don't like that item that you exchanged from Coco. Once you have exchanged it, it will be final. Asking the staff for refunds about this case shall be ignored.
GalaxyMS Event Rules
The terms written here in are automatically applied to you (The User) upon your first entering of any event.
1. Do Not Spam
To prevent any disturbance for the event, please do not spam during event. Violation of this rule can lead to punishment, which ranges from temporary jail to full ban.
2. Do Not use AoE Skills
To prevent any disturbance or lag for the event to have fair gameplay, please do not use any AoE skills during event. Violation of this rule can lead to punishment, ranging from temporary jail to full ban.
3. No Vulgarities is allowed
If you wish to win the event, be kind. No GM would accept a rude user as the winner. Please do not say any rude comments or vulgarities during event. Vulgarities includes short forms. Such violation to this rule can lead to punishment, ranged from temporary jail to full ban.
4. No begging
This is to be fair to all users, any begging for a time extension, better rewards or change of event are not allowed. User are also not allowed to ask for events. Violating this rule can lead to punishment, ranging from temporary jail to full ban.
4. No usage of power command (occupation & donor)
This is to be fair to all user, all power command is not allowed. Violating this rule can lead to punishment, and that can range from temporary jail to full ban.
5. No Mules
This is to be fair to all users, if you have a mule, you get two chances whereas other players only have one. We can check the IP addresses of players. If we see people with the same IP, we will kick both players out of the event.
GalaxyMS Forum Rules
1. Flaming/Trolling
We view these just the same as harassment. Therefore intentionally insulting/attacking other users or provoking negative reactions from others is not allowed. Violating this rule can lead to punishment, ranging from warning to banned.
2. Spamming
Please do not post meaningless and irrelevant replies that do not contribute to the thread. Some sections have a stricter definition of spamming than others, mainly the support section. "Bump"-ing more than once a day in a thread is also counted as spamming. Please do not bump a thread that is more than 10 days old. Such violation to this rule can lead to punishment, ranging from warning to banned.
3. Illegal Software
Posting illegal software and viruses without the permission of an administrator is not allowed. If in doubt about attaching/linking a file, ask.
4. Section Stickies
Please make sure you follow instructions and rules in the section stickies. They pop up on your first visit to a section to make sure that you read them.
5. Custom User titles
Please do not attempt to impersonate authority by using a user title that suggests being a staff member or anyone of authority. Examples are, but not limited to: 'Administrator', 'GameMaster', 'Moderator', 'Manager', etc.
6. Signature and Avatars
Naked, or mostly naked, girls(or guys), whether cartoon, or real, are NOT ACCEPTABLE.
GalaxyMS Chat Rules
The terms written here in are automatically applied to you (The User) upon your first log on to the chat service.
1. Do Not Ask to Ask a Question
If you have a question, simply ask it. It is possible that you do not require the assistance of a Staff member, Administrator.
2. Before You Ask a Question
Search on the forums and read the FAQ for possible solutions for your problem.
3. No Spamming
You will be warned only once. The next time we will simply kick you from the chat. Should you rejoin and begin again, you will be permanently blocked from the chat.
GalaxyMS Account & Character Termination Policy
This policy take effect from 5th January 2013. This policy is to ensure that all user that have be banned stay away from the Game Service untill appeal is accepted. This is to ensure that the appeal stays in working condition and the punishment system is not abused. This policy will make all characters with a banned user of same information remotely or non-remotely to be sent to jail immediately. Unfortunately, users which have been playing legitly that falls under the same information will also be jailed. Thus, to get away from such situation, the user must post up a ban appeal and a jail appeal. Ban appeal stating the fault of the account being banned, jail appeal to unjail the legit character.
